Deonte Kelly, 23, of Philadelphia, surrendered to police in Pottstown at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele in a statement.

Investigators believe Kelly acted with 17-year-old Dominic Carboni in the Monday, Oct. 17 shootings of Skyler Fox, 17, and Brandon Bacote-Byer, 18, in Pottstown.

DA Steele has described the murders as a drug deal gone wrong.

After Carboni's arrest last week, authorities named Kelly as the second suspect in the slayings and offered a $5,000 reward for information that led to his capture.

Kelly is being held without bail at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and will be arraigned in coming days, officials added.
